We are currently looking for an energetic, customer service-oriented Technical and Commercial Specialist for our Calgary office to join our Canusa–CPS division. You will assist in the sales operations of the Canadian region by being the primary contact to external and internal customers. The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience and be able to manage key customer activities in a professional and timely manner. This is a full time permanent oppourtunity. This position can lead to future growth and expansion within ShawCor Ltd. This position can start immediately if you are the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and respond to inquiries regarding pricing, product information and deliveries
- Outside sales duties including lunch and learns, trade show attendance and customer relationship development
- Maintain inventory of marketing material
- Refine and develop new marketing materials including video usage
- Complete and track inventory transactions
- Update contacts, quotes and pricing terms in the database to ensure accuracy of the systems
- Accurate and timely preparation of quotations and change orders
- Organize and manage customer functions for lunches, hockey tickets, golf tournaments and tours
- Collect industry, customer, market and competitor information
- Deliver information for meeting minutes, price books and activity/event schedules
- Provide general administrative tasks from management team as required
Minimum Qualifications:
- Community College with a certificate in Business or Engineering Technologist
- 1-3 years experience in a similar role
- Computer literacy with intermediate Microsoft Office skills, Windows and Lotus Notes software
- Basic knowledge and understanding of technology and support acumen
- Able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
- Customer service focused emphasized on relationship building
- High attention to detail, thoroughness and accuracy
- Strong organization, planning and time management skills
