Technical Application Support Analyst recruitment
Our client is a leading global financial institution. This role has to provide technical support in Derivatives space.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Provide 2nd / 3rd level technical application support
- Should have supported derivative products and trade processing
- Dealing with issues raised by established 1st line support teams
- Identify root cause analysis and provide tactical solution
- Liaise with product, development and infrastructure team for 3rd line escalations
- Work directly with clients to understand resolve issues
- Liaise with delivery team to ensure things are in place for new releases
Requirements of the role:
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong technical experience in application support
- Experience in raising development bugs - including priority assessment and detailing how to reproduce issues
- Solid experience in Oracle PL/SQL scripting including stored procedures, functions and complex joins
- Good Unix/PERL scripting experience
- Basic coding experience in Java/C++/Perl/Python
