Technical Architect Job in Melbourne 3000, Victoria Australia
My client is the Market Leader in business analytics software and services, and the largest independent vendor in the business intelligence market. They have a large presence in the Australian market and due to continued growth are looking for a Technical Architect to join their team in Melbourne.
As the successful Technical Architect you will be participating in high level design and documentation of complex environments.You will be liaising with clients to elicit information which will help in the designs and then be part of the team helping to achieve the vision.
To be successful in this role you will have a good technical background with general Infrastructure Architecture experience. Experience in the following would be highly regarded; analytics, Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence or Data Modelling.
Key responsibilities:
- Liaise with clients to gather technical requirements
- Help analyze information gathered from the client and translate requirements into detailed technical designs
- Present detailed architecture designs to clients to confirm their understanding
- Document the technical infrastructure requirements for the Project team
- Work alongside the Project Manager to achieve the vision
Key requirements:
- Previous experience working in a Technical Architect role
- Proven experience in infrastructure design (hardware/storage/networks)
- Experience in Data Warehouse design, Data Modelling, analytics or Business Intelligence (advantage)
- Ability to provide Technical Architecture designs and documentation
- Ability to help run project implementations
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
