Our client is one of Asia's leading Healthcare organisations operating in the primary, secondary and tertiary care segments. Headquartered in Singapore the organisation has expanded rapidly across the Asia Pacific region organically and via acquisition over the past decade. Due to this rapid expansion, the client requires a Regional Technical Architect
Job Description
Reporting directly to the Vice President of IT projects you will work with various stakeholders and IT Country managers to understand the business requirements, existing systems and drive the architecture for major projects. In addition you will facilitate innovative thinking to enable disruptive models/ products of healthcare delivery through the use of technology. Key activities / tasks;
- Acquire and align with technology competencies driven by the needs of an evolving business
- Support communication between local Businesses and Technology groups by sharing a vision facilitating decision making, resolving conflicts, finding consensus and gaining commitment
- Co-operate with Country Technology Management to prioritise investment through strategic planning
- Management of Technology alignment to Business strategy, plans and objectives. Development, implementation and monitoring of the short and long term IT strategy across entities, functions and vendors/ technology partners
- Reduce cost and simplify the environment
- Re-engineering of Technology processes and landscape
- Reduce Technology Regulatory risks
- Comply with sector architecture
- Communicate and socialise enterprise architecture
Requirements
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in IT and 4 years in designing large enterprise systems
- Exposure and hands on experience with a wide range of technologies
- Knowledge of architecture frameworks, design patterns, SOA industry standards, UML, BPMN
- Experience of acquisitions / mergers and Integrations is preferred
- Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal and influencing skills
