The well funded startup is an innovative and disruptive online marketplace for fixed-income derivatives. Excellent opportunity for someone with little to no financial experience to learn about trading of interest rates swaps and credit default swaps. Company has big plans to grow over the coming years and has a stellar management team.
Description of position:
Help deliver high-quality applications, multiple releases, responsible for own unit testing. Work with different groups to help roll out trading platform. You will perform QA, support, and client implementation. Some development as well is possible.
Skills Required:
- An ability to work independently or as part of a small team with technical guidance from manager.
- An exposure to object oriented programming C++ or java and OO techniques.
- A minimum of 1 years of database development utilizing SQL and relational database techniques.
- Experience with concurrent programming in a multi-thread environment is preferred.
- Good communication skills.
Pluses:
- Experience with Python and Perl
- Experience with FIX
- Experience with Erlang or other functional languages
- Software development experience in the trading, brokerage, or financial services industries.
