Technical Author – Real-Time / Market Data recruitment

Thousands of financial institutions and active traders, as well as hundreds of software and service providers, subscribe to our fixed income evaluations, reference data, real-time market data, trading infrastructure services, fixed income analytics, desktop solutions and web-based solutions.
We are currently seeking a Technical Author who can provide technical authorship of Real-Time Services customer documentation, primarily customer notices and developer supplements.
This is a fixed term contract for 14 months.
Key accountabilities will include:
- To liaise with the Real-Time Services QA team and produce accurate and timely customer facing technical documentation.
- Ownership of the scheduling and creation of developer supplements and customer notices in line with agreed notice periods and customer service level agreements.
- Work to agreed processes for documentation and liaise with US equivalent on standards and documentation management.
- Assist Senior Product Manager in day to day activities related to Real-Time Services datafeed (PlusFeed) product strategy.
- Act as a source of knowledge on product development for internal departments such as Sales and Account Management.
- Assist with project managing all content additions to PlusFeed and product literature for European marketing.
- To successfully liaise between technology and sales and be able to write marketing literature and other sales supporting documentation
- Assist in identifying and prioritising new product and content development opportunities and to successfully guide the projects from concept through approval to completion within set time constraints.
Essential experience and qualifications:
- Experience of working at a major data vendor or working in the global financial market data business
- Ability to take ownership of all aspects of the customer facing developer supplements and notices. Manage the process behind the differing requirements for notifying customers of changes happening on the PlusFeed.
- Ablility to interpret internal complex data specifications into readable, concise and clear customer documentation in line with departmental and company standards.
- Ability to cross-check documentation against the PlusFeed data output for accuracy.
- Organised, methodical mindset
- Degree in English, Finance or Business
- Project Management skills
- Excellent and demonstrable writing skills
- Excellent PC business applications skills (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
