Technical Business Analyst (Middle/Back Office) recruitment
Position Description:
AGS on behalf of RBS represents contract and temporary opportunities for RBS MIB (Markets and International Banking). We have an outstanding contract opportunity for a Technical Business Analyst with Risk to make their mark with one of the world's largest international banking and financial services companies. In the role of a Technical Business Analyst with Risk, you will play an integral role in helping our client deliver market leading services that set it apart from its competitors.
In essence, we are looking for a Tech BA who understands RISK and compliance across the whole security piece, is familiar with standards such as BS7799 and ISO27001. Desirable will include the CISSP and CISM. Degree also a desirable but not mandatory. Must have excellent coms skills as will be talking to tech and non techies alike.
Role Profile - Provide a point of contact within technology to Operational Risk, Group Security Fraud, Technical Services Risk, Internal and External Audit reviewing and agreeing Risk Issues raised against technology. Reviewing and recommending action plans with the Technology owners for mitigation and timeframes against the issues. Provide advise on technical risk to both Infrastructure and Application Development teams for the assessment of identified risk, advice on re-mediation plans and track agreed actions to conclusion. Management of the IT Risk Data in SONAR, reporting to both SMT and GSF.
Key deliverables
- Provide consultancy as a SME for IT Risk to other areas of IT and business control functions.
- Provide a management awareness of the current risk issues within technology to the IT management. Team.
- Maintain the level of no overdue risk issues reported against technology.
- Work towards maintaining the level 2 form MCA and drive to a level 2 for the Control Environment.
Team Profile
- Point of contact between Internal and External Audit and Technology, reviewing and agreeing all issues raised against technology. Reviewing action plans with the Technology owners for mitigation and timeframes against issues.
- Technical Risk consultants to Technology for both Infrastructure and Application Development for the assessment of identified risk and control requirements. Provide advice on re-mediation plans and track plans to conclusion.
- Point contact for Operational Risk when business identify IT Incidents, Issues or Risks.
- Tester of the Technology Control Framework including SOX.
- Management reporting for Quarterly Certification and monthly Risk and Control Committees
- Creation of the Security and Risk KPI's, Monthly CIO Governance report and COO KPI reports.
