Due to an ongoing pipeline of Capital/Global market projects in the Australian market, my client a leading Professional Services firm is in need of Implementation Managers/Business Analysts Consultants with Front Office, Middle Office or Back Office skills across Global/Capital Markets.
As a consultant you will be required to work through all phases of the project lifecycle, end to end.
In depth hands-on Murex (or Fidessa/Calypso) experience is preferred.
You will be required to work at various client sites providing implementation and configuration expertise.
Typical responsibilities may include:
- Gathering/Documenting requirements and understanding the clients needs
- Identify gaps and create detailed specifications
- Configuration and testing
- Training of end-users
- Providing support through Go-Live stage
Experience required:
- Minimum of 5 years as a Business (Systems) Analyst
- Capital Markets experience preferred
- Knowledge of trading instrument such as FX, Fixed Income, and Derivates (Credit, Interest, and Equity)
- Front Office, Middle Office or Back Office systems experience and knowledge of standards/processes involved
- Technical skills - such as java or C++ preferred
- Previous client facing skills preferred
- Murex, Calypso, Fidessa, Algorithmics, Wall Street Systems or Sungard experience a distinct advantage.
