Technical Clerk Job in Lincoln 68516, Nebraska US

Must be able to push carts and move boxes in all weather conditions on a daily basis between locations.  Move tables, chairs etc for meeting set ups and tare down.

Push up to 50 lbs and lift up to 30 lbs

Stand for periods of time running mail and or opening incoming mail.

Be able to drive a company car and have active driver¿s licenses, will be driving pool car for clean up and services.

Assisting the team with incoming customer calls through out the day and at times fill in as the receptionist desk. 

Summary of Job Responsibilities:

Performs technical and administrative support in accordance with standard procedures. Exercises independent judgement and knowledge within department/division and utilizes a general understanding of other functions. Maintains records, prepares reports, verifies information and resolves common problems.

 

Reports to:  Supervisor/Manager

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:.

1. Performs varied clerical duties requiring knowledge of general department/division and organizational practices and procedures.

2. Utilizes personal computer, calculator, typewriter and other standard office equipment for recording, storing, retrieving and presenting information.

3. Maintains records and checks data for control purposes. Compiles and distributes standard reports which may be technical in nature from a variety of sources within and outside of department.

4. Assists in answering telephones; takes messages and/or redirects calls; responds to routine questions; explains routine policies and procedures as necessary.

5.  Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

 

 

Summary of Job Requirements:

Education:

High school studies; technical school studies in personal computing and software usage.

 

Experience:

Two years in general office environment that includes writing, proofing, and use of basic mathematics. Prefer one year of personal computing and experience in a related function area.

 

Knowledge:

General office practices and procedures, basic mathematics, familiarity with office filing systems and record keeping procedures, and problem-solving techniques.
