Technical Consultant, Back Office (IMMEDIATE STARTERS) recruitment

THIS ROLE IS LOOKING AT IMMEDIATE STARTERS AND WITH MULTI FOREIGN LANGUAGE SKILLS WITH BACK OFFICE AS KEY SKILL. SINGAPOREAN, PEP, EP OR PR's ONLY PLEASE!

Key Responsibilities:

1. To fully understand the client's functional and technical requirements and be involved in the specification of these.

2. Take functional specifications through to technical specification and on this basis provide input to scope and planning of projects.

3.To have detailed technical and comprehensive knowledge understanding of product set.

4. Take active and hands-on participation in all project tasks including analysis, design, configuration, coding, testing and implementation, and at the same time ensuring that our Client's Professional Services procedures are adhered to.

5. Carry out pro-active customer care management, addressing potential project/client issues before they become live problems. Pro-actively suggest enhancements to client requirements and existing solutions thereby helping maximise return on investment for the client.

6. Pro-actively provide internal feedback and suggestions regarding products and procedural enhancements when required and appropriate.

7. When required, communicate with clients and provide them with status updates on current projects and related aspects.

8. Communicate with lead consultants and project managers on a regular basis providing performance updates and any other information relevant to our Clients business.

Primary Skills Attributes:

1. 5 years experience in implementing STP solutions within the Investment or Asset management community or within the broker/dealer community.

2. (Essential) Business process knowledge ideally including Trade matching, settlement, STP, SWIFT, preferably with exposure to middle/back office systems.

3. (Essential) Minimum of 3 years Technical knowledge in the areas of coding, Databases (SQL, or Oracle)

4. (Advantageous) Technical knowledge in the following areas Tomcat or IBM Websphere.

5. (Essential) Comprehensive system development skills and experience in most aspects of a project's lifecycle, specifically in the areas of design, configuration, coding, testing, implementation and documentation.

6. (Advantageous) Knowledge of some of the following messaging formats - SWIFT (ISO15022/2022), OASYS Global Workstation, OASYS Direct, OASYS Domestic or CTM, EMX or FIX.

7.
