Technical Consultant Engineer Microsoft Server 2008, Exchange 2007/2010, SAN, XenApp, XenDesktop. Established, growing and successful provider of ICT solutions, based not far from manchester centre, is looking to recruit additional technical consultants due to growth, to work on client sites in the implementation of solutions.
The engineer / consultant will have a reseller/customer facing background and will have worked on client sites in the implementation of solutions. Typical projects will include Windows 2003 to 2008 domain migrations, Exchange 2010 implementations, SAN set up and configuration, server virtualisation, Citrix XenApp installations, Citrix XenDesktop installations, back up solutions, centralised desktop imaging solutions, workstation builds and deployment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong skils in the areas above including Microsoft, SAN, and server virtualisation skills, and will be consultative with a customer focussed background working on client sites.
On offer is a basic in the region of 28-35k and car allowance, with good future potential and opportunity. You will be working on client sites possibly around the UK so should not be adverse to travel.
