- Serve as a subject matter expert around integration technologies and standards.
Specifically:
IBM WebSphere ESB, Message Broker, WTX, Datapower, etc.
IBM Cast Iron Appliance
Salesforce.com and other cloud platforms
Industry and domain integration standards (e.g. HL7/HIPAA, SAP, Salesforce.com)
Cloud Integration/Development
- Lead projects through all phases of strategy, discovery, architecture, design, development and deployment
- Demonstrate technical expertise through certification on integration products
- Serve as thought leader in assigned areas
- Apply broad application and system architecture and design capabilities over many technologies to implement secure, robust, transactional and service oriented architectures
- Understand the full application lifecycle from inception through maintenance
- Understand the customer business strategy and goals to develop technology solutions that deliver the required business value
- Communicate effectively with clients and interact with client"s management staff
- Work independently within the customer"s environment
- Successfully mentor or advise other Summa consultants
- Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction at all times
Required Skills
- Work experience with integration technologies Demonstrated ability to quickly and routinely solve complex problems independently
- Demonstrated ability to quickly and routinely solve a variety of complex problems independently
- Ability to architect and design a system when presented with a business problem
- Work well in a team environment
- Energetic team player with excellent written, verbal and conceptual skills
- Must be able to strategically evaluate technical issues that may impact the business while maintaining focus and direction on task at hand.
- Proven ability to learn new technologies and methodologies quickly
- Travel flexibility up to 50% is required - must be able to maintain fiscal responsibility with a corporate credit card in your name.
Desired Skills:
- Work experience with mainframe, legacy and/or packaged application integration is a plus
- Experience with IBM WebSphere Suite is a plus
- Business Analyst experience or line of business experience is a plus
Experience:
- 7 + years of experience architecting and designing distributed systems (with a background as a technical lead or technical architect preferred
Education:
- Bachelor"s Degree in IT related field or equivalent experience considered
