Our Client is looking for a Technical Consultant with a mix of advanced technology and client facing capabilities. The role requires both broad and deep technology knowledge as well as the ability to develop solutions utilizing the firm’s enterprise application suite. The Technical Consultant must have a demonstrated ability to build custom applications from scratch and/or using an application framework to provide best practice solutions for real world business needs.
The ideal Technical Consultant candidate has most likely worked at a global IT consultancy focusing on enterprise solutions leveraging Microsoft .NET and SQL Server technologies and has excellent communication/client facing skills. Experience and Skills:
As a Technical Consultant you will:
Bring your insight and expertise in .NET and SQL Server and overall solution architecture to our advanced Microsoft shop to deliver software and services to our enterprise nonprofit clients.
Brainstorm and formulate cutting-edge product breakthroughs, define and document high-level design and requirements, and lead development efforts
Required Experience:
Excellent technical and business-facing communication skills, both oral and written
Experience leading $1M+ systems integration projects
Familiar with Use Case Analysis, UML diagramming, Object Oriented Design Analysis, .NET 2.0-3.5, VB.NET or C#, SSIS and SQL Server 2008
Experience in full life cycle software development using an iterative development approach
Familiar with the concepts, value, and approaches of Business Intelligence, EAI, Workflow
Deep understanding of SOA principles and implementation methodologies
Experience with automated testing for both functionality and performance
Familiar with usability design principles
Familiar with web services, WSDL, Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP), XML, XSD, AJAX, JavaScript
Experience with designing of applications for deployment in a WAN environment utilizing web services
Experience defining, documenting, and recommending appropriate enterprise-class system architectures
Experience estimating and sizing development efforts
