This company are one of the world's leading suppliers of digital security technology, incorporating the latest innovations in smart cards, SIM's, e-passports, PKI / tokenisation solutions. With a worldwide employee base of over 10,000, spread across 45 different countries, their cutting edge technology is used in a wide variety of industries including telecommunications, e-government, and financial services.
Due to expansion in the AsiaPac region they are looking to recruit a Technical Consultant / Pre-Sales Engineer to join a small but highly skilled team servicing the A/NZ region. The main focus in this role will be on the company's Telecom / SIM solutions.
Main responsibilities in the role include :
- Acting as a technical interface between customer (Telco Operators) and the Product Solutions
- Designing tender technical specifications and POC documentation
- Integration of the company's products and technology into partner products and solutions
- Pre-sales consultancy
The client is ideally targetting a junior to mid level candidate with approximately 2 - 4 years experience in a similar role. Technically you will have a solid understanding of Telco standards (GSM/WCDMA), and digital security. You will also ideally have skills in SIM and Smart Card technology, and general networking.
