The Role

 

Due to consistent internal growth and development and expansion across EMEA my client requires a Sales Engineer/Technical Pre-sales consultant to join their UK team with a focus on SIEM and Risk management. You will be responsible for understanding the customer’s needs and positioning of the full portfolio. You will be the domain expert and considered the as ‘trusted advisor’ for customers as well supporting the sales team with full responsibility for securing the technical win.

 

You will provide technical guidance, through product demonstrations, presentations and pilot implementations and work with the dedicated sales team to win business. Some Travel (up to 50%) may be required to client meetings, presentations and POC across EMEA.

 

The Candidate

 

Ideally you will be an expert in the field of SIEM and network security analysis ideally working within an IT Security vendor however other IT security areas such as data loss prevention, encryption, identity assurance, enterprise security software solutions will also be considered.

 

You will have extensive experience within a pre-sales or technical consultant role, with good presentation skills as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will have proven ability to assist at a technical level within the sales process and demonstrate experiences or examples of where you have helped win a sale through your implicit technical knowledge.

 

Requirements

 

Solid understanding of Linux and Command Line interface (CLI)

Knowledge and understanding of networking and security infrastructure devices – firewalls, IP networking, IPS/IDS, VPN, SPAN/TAP

CISSP and CISA certification advantageous.

European Languages would be advantageous.
