Technical Conversion Coordinator (contract position) Job in Waltham 02453, Massachusetts US

We are looking for someone who is tech-savvy and experienced in handling high-end customers to provide hands-on support for the migration of our 1,500 independent financial advisor offices to our corporate network/information security infrastructure. You’ll be the liaison between our deployment specialists and the advisors over the course of each conversion. The ability to provide indispensable customer service is a must, as you’ll be handling escalations from start to finish, collaborating with other groups in technology and across the firm.

As a technical conversion coordinator, your responsibilities would include:

·          Explaining the shield conversion process to our advisors and communicating with them throughout the process

·          Contributing to the overall success of the shield project by supporting and managing our advisors’ escalated issues

·          Owning all technical and general issues from start to finish, ensuring a timely and positive resolution for our advisors

·          Using the knowledge attained through the issues you are working on to make recommendations to management to improve the overall quality of the shield product

·          Providing indispensable service to our advisors and assistants so they, in turn, can provide indispensable service to their clients

·          Sending out periodic quality control surveys and analyzing results

 

The ideal candidate for this position should meet the following requirements:

 

·          2-3 years’ experience in a technology customer service-related field, handling high-end customers

·          Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software upgrades, Windows server operating systems, computer networks

·          Basic knowledge of what a broker/dealer does, as well as our business model

·          Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·          Able to multitask and work on multiple issues at once

·          Excellent organization skills

·          Ability and desire to work as part of a team

·          Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

·          Negotiation and presentation skills

·          Project management experience
