We are searching for an individual to coordinate our Application Engineering sales efforts and contribute to the sales in Asia, working out of our Batavia headquarters and reporting to the General Manager in China. Responsibilities will include quote preparation, bookings, and sales assistance for a product group that includes our surface condensers, ejectors, desuperheaters, liquid ring vacuum pump packages, and heliflow heat exchangers into out three core Asian markets: oil and gas, chemical and petrochemical, and nuclear power generation.
The successful candidate will serve as an internal coordinator, responsible for overseeing the quotation, bookings, and order execution for the selected region. The position will serve as an internal advocate and champion for Asian business and handling the larger Asian quotes.
A strong sales presence, with the ability to effectively interface with all levels of management and across all company departments, is necessary for success in this position.
Requirements for the job include:
•a four year degree in a technical discipline,
•at least 5 years experience with highly engineered heat transfer and thermodynamic products,
•a strong familiarity and comfort in a fully equipped manufacturing setting,
•strong interpersonal skills
•fluency in Chinese is highly desirable
•willingness to travel into the region of responsibility (up to 20%).
