IIS RMA Senior Manager, Systems Engineering ? Job Description Summary Need : As the IIS division continues to expand its business as prime contractor for software intensive / COTS IT-based systems, a need has emerged for an RMA (Reliability, Maintainability, Availability) Technical Senior Manager, Systems Engineering with Engineering leadership and SW RMA experience. IIS provides mission critical systems to DoD, the Intelligence Community and Commercial customers. High Assurance is a cornerstone requirement for all IIS Systems. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Systems Engineering, Integration and Test (SEIT), provide technical oversight to all IIS programs. Job Description : The RMA Senior Manager, Systems Engineering will perform the following duties: · Responsible for fulfillment of RMA requirements on all IIS programs, within cost and schedule constraints · Advise System Architects, Systems Engineers, Chief Engineers, Software Architects, Test Architects, Integrated Logistics Support Lead and Mission Assurance organization as a SME ? to ensure principles of high assurance systems are reflected in IIS system designs, requirements, verification and operations support plans. · Provide technical oversight of RMA analysts (modelers), and approval of analysis results · Manage the RMA Technical Performance Measures on all programs · Develop and conduct courses on practical application of RMA techniques · Establish IIS? reputation for high assurance systems, with customers and teammates · Support the Manager of Specialty Engineering on developing a high performing RMA Engineering team (hiring, training, performance feedback) · Other duties as assigned. Required Skills Experience : · Prior experience as an RMA Lead, Lead Systems Engineer (LSE), or Chief Engineer (CE) as a Prime contractor · Prior experience performing SW RMA function on development programs with significant custome r interfac e · Proven working knowledge of RMA requirements decomposition, performance analysis, and verification · Proven working knowledge of design techniques used for high assurance software-intensive, COTS IT-based systems. HW RMA experience will not be considered a substitute for SW RMA experience · Bachelors degree in Engineering, Math or Physics · Clearable for a TS/SI/TK security clearance. Desired Skills Experience : · Prior experience as RMA Lead, LSE or CE on software-intensive, COTS-Based systems · Professionally active in RMA or related engineering discipline; known within one or more of IIS customer communities · Current TS or SI/TK clearance. Travel: This position requires 10-15% domestic travel.
