Position Responsibilities

Plans and executes the day to day operations at the client location; assists the CIO in providing leadership and may represent IT in meetings.
Hands-on Cisco network VOIP background in managing, setup, configuration, troubleshooting of all Cisco devices. In addition, hands-on management of networks, servers, help desk, media services, smart classrooms and onsite and remote staff within those areas. Ability to manage multiple projects while providing guidance to staff, updates to executive staff, and ensuring project completion. Adjusts hours of work, priorities, and staff assignments to ensure efficient operation, based on work load. Meets with client users to determine quality of service and identify/remediate needs.
Direct management of 6 employees (help desk, network administration media services) and responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving issues.

Position Requirements

* Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university;
* CCNE
* Extensive Cisco network and VoIP experience
* MS Exchange 2007 or 2010
* Five to seven years related experience

Desired Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
* HPUX experience
* Exchange 2007 to 2010 migrations
* Cloud based technology experience
