One of the worlds largest banks requires a supremely motivated, talented and adaptable business analyst to work across multiple projects right across the bank. 

This is no ‘usual’ business analyst role...you will have complete purview across all the business units in the bank; corporate finance, treasury, risk, trading, accounting and operations and work with a team of experienced business analysts. You can expect support from the Head of IT. Business and business units. The company culture means that people are receptive to change, but you will still have to carefully manage relationships (some people are more resistant to change than others) and prove your worth before you are respected by the business users. 

The following technologies are employed in the bank, so we’d like to hear from Business Analysts who have used some or all of the below: 

VBA / Excel

SQL

.net experience

C++

OO

Java

C#

You must also possess the ‘softer’ skills of spec writing and client relationships. You will expected to produce functional specs and also document the automation and process change you’ve implemented, so very well developed writing and presentation skills are expected as standard.

An example of some of the projects that need completing are as below;

* Automation of VaR calculations for Fixed Income instruments
