Technical Information Security Specialist recruitment
Our client, a top tier bank is seeking an application architect with a good understanding of Information Security, to work closely with development teams across the bank, consulting with them on the correct security policies and standards that need to be included, and to have the design and technical know how to effectively integrate these policies into existing and new architectural frameworks. Technical experience in web technologies and / or mainframe technologies and programming is key.
We have positions at the mid tier to senior level, so experience levels from 7 years upwards are welcome.
Responsibilities
You will be the development unit's primary technical subject matter expert in the area of Information Security technologies, best practices and security architecture; providing in depth reviews on the Information Security design of applications to identify possible areas of vulnerabilities and advises the developers how to address them. In addition, you will be tasked with ensuring that the applications developed will comply with international Information Security regulatory requirements such as the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS)'s Technology Risk Management (TRM) policy.
Requirements
- Knowledge of security architecture review during SDLC.
- Ability to interact with management at different levels.
- Experience in interacting with various teams in different locations
- Experience with interpretation and application of IS Policy and Standards
- Strong risk analysis and problem solving skills
- Information Security standards
- CISSP or CISM certifications (preferred)
Strong technical knowledge and/or experience handling security architecture of at least 2 areas:
- Mainframe technologies
- Unix / Distributed platforms
- Database systems
- Middleware technology such as Tibco
- Java/J2EE applications
- Web applications and development in J2EE
- Mobile applications and or / other channels applications
- Database and/or Data Warehouse applications
