Technical Inside Sales Representative Job in Cambridge, Ontario Canada
Do you live in the Cambridge area and are looking for a new challenge? Our client is a large EPC organization and we are looking for a Technical Inside Sales Representative to join its team.
MUST HAVES:
- Licensed Electrician or CET
- 3 years of experience in a technical inside sales role including generation of technical quotations
- Electrical system knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot electrical equipment preferred
- Experience with some kind of quote software
OVERVIEW:
The person occupying this role is accountable for the inside sales of a broad range of products/solutions/services within an assigned district and will report to Sales Manager. You will respond to complex customer inquiries (phone, fax, e-mail), fulfill sales opportunities, and address and service the needs of larger established accounts. The chosen candidate will utilize excellent products/solutions/services and customer knowledge to act as a consultant for high-level customer contacts regarding customers’ present and future needs. This person will also encourage partnering as a means towards business development and increased profitability. As well, you will mentor new inside sales representatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Set goals and objectives, develops inside sales/business plans, establishes call plans and strategies, develops account profiles and executes the inside sales plan
- Follow up on identified customer leads and make outbound pre-sales telephone calls
- Work closely with outside sales counterparts on proposals and quotes
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of companies products/solutions/services and competitor strengths, weaknesses and applications. Applies knowledge of the company’s products/solutions/services and competitor strengths, weaknesses and applications
- Applies knowledge of companies products/solutions/services to customer's needs
- Maintains a high level of customer satisfaction through in-depth knowledge of customer's organization, increasing account dedication, timely communication and follow up
