Position Description
Technical Lead - AS400 RPG
Our client in Miramar, FL is looking for a Technical Lead - AS400 RPG with 6 to 10 years' experience.
• Should be expert in AS400 / RPGILE, Free format RPG, ILE Concepts, DB2/400, CLLE
• Should be able to Analyze Define Architecture for large business programs
• Work with business analyst and come up with architectural design and technical specifications and have experience in gap analysis.
• Should be able to come up with DFD's, ERD's swim lane and IPO diagrams to support the application design.
• Knowledge of different interfacing techniques on AS/400 (DTAQ, DDM, MQ) etc is preferred.
• Should have worked on web application with AS/400 as the backend.
• Mentor 5 to 8 junior developers and review the code
• Should be the SPOC for functional and technical queries.
• Should have good communication skills. Should be able to train/groom and mentor rookies.
• Should be goal oriented,Good Customer Handling experience, team building skills
• Should have excellent Communication and Client interaction skills
• Experience with onsite/offshore model
