Technical Lead - £455 per day - S.C Cleared - Gosport

Day to Day Responsibilities:

Produce a High Level Design including details of HW design, solution architecture, resilience and performance design, configuration HL items and testing approach and strategy.
Produce a Low Level Design to detail all low level configuration and implementation steps and approach. Line by line implementation steps.
Day to day management of the technical aspects of the design and implementation, reporting directly to the SMMP BTO Project Manager. Issue resolution and technical reporting.
Liaise with Design Authority to ensure all aspects of the design meet Corporate and Account Design standards. Input to Account Quality Gates including Critical Design Review (CDR), Operational Readiness Review (ORR) and Technical Review (TR).
Ensure design 'dovetails' with technology roadmap and existing in flight technical designs and solutions being developed and deployed as part of the SPVA Refresh Programme. Attend technical review boards weekly to ensure that major design decisions are ratified and fully impact other technical design changes against SMMP Design.
Produce test specifications to demonstrate that modified elements meet requirement.
Execute unit tests and document outcomes in accordance with QMS procedures.
Investigate reported errors, identify cause and resolve problem.
Liaise with HP BTO Tools programme as required to resolve technical issues.
Provide regular progress reports to line management in accordance with agreed procedures.
Ensuring compliance with SPVA One Agency One Team.

Essential Skills:

Product Expert with HP Operations Manager 8.x9.x
Product Expert with HP Network Node Manager (NNMi)
Technical and Solution Design skills within the field of estate monitoring tools and processes
Previous experience of implementing estate monitoring toolsets across multiple networks, both physically and logically.
Experience of Windows 2003 and 2008 Server.
Basic SQL Server 2005 Knowledge.
Basic experience of HP/UX 11.x
