The Company

My client, a leading global insurance broker is urgently seeking a highly experienced Technical Lead to join their IT team to ensure the quality of technical delivery on projects in the Asia Pacific Region.

The Role

This role will report to the Regional CTO. The key responsibilities are supporting the planning, scoping and execution of a project from a technical perspective.  Act as key client focus to resolve problems and provide industry and technical direction.  Cultivate successful client relationship by bridging the gap between the development team and the client. You will oversee, interface and liaise with IT vendors and outsourcing partners and ensure alignment to architecture guidelines and principles. In addition, you have to provide technical oversight to development teams and work with technical staff to understand problems with software and develop specifications to resolve them. You will assist in the estimation of effort and cost of  development, integration and migration projects. Furthermore, you have to provide application design feedback to business leaders as needed working under the guidance of the Technical Design Lead. You are responsible for effective application development including integration with other systems. You also have to work with Project Managers and Business Analysts on the requirements prioritization and project plans and communicate development and test plan to team members.

Your Profile

Successful candidates will have experience in software development experience including .net and Oracle with at least 3-4 years as a Tech Lead. You have a proven experience working in an outsourcing and offshore environment on major delivery programs. You have knowledge of all phases of SDLC and full lifecycle implementations. You have hands on integration technologies such as Informatica ETL, MQ, Webservices. In addition, you have solid experience in .Net development studio; Jira change management. Proven technical leadership experience; able to lead a team of developers. Furthermore, you have exposure to industry application architecture and experience with design patterns including SOA. You have strong interpersonal and communication skills with project management experience. You speak fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
