A leading Global Investment Bank is looking to hire a Technical Lead Middleware Engineer to join their growing Web Hosting and Infrastructure team.
The role entails troubleshooting and escalation of support issues, consulting business projects, defining application architecture strategy and owning the life cycle management of technologies. As a senior member of the team the role requires this person to act as a subject matter expert within Web Infrastructure.
Experience working with a large web infrastructure/enterprise and within an IT support/engineering position is required, (e.g Spread Betting/Telecomms/Banking and Finance) Meanwhile, experience with financial applications and complex web environments is desirable.
Important Skills Required: Linux (Red Hat) - Windows - Web Hosting Architecture - Oracle (Coherence and Weblogic) - IBM Websphere - Apache - Active Directory/LDAP Authentication.
Other desirable skills include DMZ infrastructure, TCP/IP, SSL and PKI.
