Our client is the world's leading insurance broker with its presence in over 100 countries and hiring over 20,000 employees. Due to their expansion, they are looking for Technical Lead to join their team. This is a permanent role.
Based in Hong Kong report to the Service Delivery Lead the Technical Lead will be responsible to provide quality of technical delivery on projects. You will directly handle offshore vendors and make sure fully and completely communication to the vendors in terms of architecture guidelines and principles. You will need to provide comment on application design and system integration. You will also work closely with QA team, application development team and Business Analyst team. Excellent communication skills and vendor management skills are important attributes to this role.
To qualify, individual must possess:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- With at least 9 years of working experience, 5 years' experience on software development including .net and Oracle, 4 years in a supervisory role
- Proven track record on offshore vendor management and smooth project delivery
- Experience in system integration, exposure to Informatica ETL, MQ is a plus
- Proven technical leadership experience
- Excellent communication skill
