This is a permanent position for an experienced Technical Manager to manage a National Service Centre based in the Melbourne suburbs. The role is a business critical role overseeing a team of workshop personnel focussing on quality and efficient repairs and improving turn-around times and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Improve operational efficiency, turn around times and quality of repairs.
  • Oversee the National Service Centre's profit and loss
  • Ensure KPI's are obtained
  • Monitoring the incoming and outgoing status and quality of repairs
  • Continuous improvement of the site
  • Ensure accordance and compliance to ISO9001 and lead external audits
  • Management of staff, development plans and assessment of staff performance.

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar role in a fast paced environment
  • Managing a workshop/laboratory
  • Strong business acumen
  • Experience of process improvement
  • A degree in a relevant discipline
  • Effective management of personnel
