Highly respected sector leader supplying an impressive portfolio of products to the retail and food service markets. Reporting to the Site General Manager, the position will oversee all the technical, quality and hygiene systems across the company. The complex and multi-faceted manufacturing process requires a strong direction to the entire technical system – quality assurance, supplier auditing, raw materials and finished product specification. You will also have regular front line contact with the major customers.
Degree qualified in a Food Science/Technology discipline, you should have extensive knowledge of BRC and HACCP, with the ability to see a much wider picture and to focus on long term goals and achievements. You will require a motivational and inspirational approach coupled with technical management experience gained within a food manufacturing environment..
