TECHNICAL MANAGER/ARCHITECT NEEDED WITH TOP CLIENT IN RALEIGH-DURHAM, NC!
The Select Group has an incredible opportunity to work with one of the top companies in RTP, NC. We are in search of a Technical Manager/Architect of Software Engineering for a top client in RTP, NC. We are looking for a collaborative individual with a proven track record of leading business-focused software engineering and development teams.
POSITION SUMMARY:
- Lead a development team, including all hiring, performance assessments, and technical coaching for development.
- Work with technology and business partners to provide strategic input into the long-term direction and roadmap.
- Direct the full life cycle of product development and program management, including scoping and estimating efforts, resource planning, project planning, communications, and delivery.
- Provide input to department processes and areas for improvement, and into strategic plans.
- Provide timely status updates to business and system stakeholders.
- The candidate will participate in defining product and roadmap objectives, design solution alternatives, and successfully deliver on a project portfolio. The deliverables must be easy-to-use for our customers (both internal and external) and yet reflect the complex business needs of our business partners.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE SKILLS:
· Java Development, web services
· Hands on Architect-they want someone who has been in an architect in the past couple of years, technically savvy, hands on architect
· Management experience
· Big company experience
· Agile experience is a must
· Ability to manage a team of 8 now, growing the team up to 20
· Background in product delivery or customer facing web development
· Advanced degree desired
