Technical MS-SQL DBA recruitment
RESPONSIBLE for ensuring that the bank’s production systems are up and running across the following functions: Windows, Storage, Unix, DBA, Messaging, and Web services. Is responsible for delivering new builds for all regions.
The team in Singapore is part of the follow-the-sun model for global production support with New York and London, responsible for all escalations from the 24 x 7 1st line team and managing all non prod work during APAC timezone.
Database architect and administration for:
• MSSQL 2008, 2005 and 2000
• Fault diagnosis and corrections
• Database performance and tuning
• New database builds
MUST HAVE:
5 + years working as an MSSQL Server production support DBA (required)
Preferred banking background or exposure to large systems and high volume work
Proven ability to work within a team environment
Clear and fluent English verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
