TECHNICAL PRODUCT ANALYST
Primary Job Responsibilities As a Product Analyst, you will play a critical role in the advancement GSI's core ecommerce platform. You will work directly with a product manager who is charged with a product line contribution. This extends from increasing the profitability of existing products to developing new products for the company. You will help to extend existing products, develop new ideas based on your industry experience and your contact with customers and prospects. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision with attention to tactical detail and the drive to make that vision a reality. You must enjoy spending time both in the market to understand its needs, and with other technical people to find innovative solutions. You must be able to communicate with areas and individuals across the company. You will work with product managers as well as end users to define detailed product requirements and roadmap candidates. You will work with engineering counterparts to define product specifications and detailed release requirements. You will work with product marketing to help them understand the product positioning and key benefits. You will work with the product manager and technical teams to keep product documentation up to date including documentation of process flows, block architectures and operational sequences. You may also serve as an internal and external evangelist for your product offering, occasionally working with the sales channel and key customers.
