The Technical Product Manager is responsible for supporting interclick product and engineering teams in the design and execution of interclick technology platforms, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, working closely with engineering, operations, analytics and support groups to ensure the success technical implementation of products. This role will also ensure that that the technology platforms are aligned with interclick’s tactical and strategic business goals.
The Technical Product Manager is expected to:
· Ensure platform roadmaps align with greater interclick roadmap.
· Create functional specifications based on market research and user feedback.
· Deliver PRDs with prioritized features and corresponding justification.
· Prioritize and manage development queue.
· Identify and address operation or process gaps required to support new product features.
· Work with engineering to translate PRDs into technical execution plan.
· Work with external third party technology and data vendors, ensure successful launch and integration.
· Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples.
· Manage communications of product development across the organization.
· Serve as a product technology expert for other business units.
· Research new technologies and solutions
Required experience and knowledge:
· Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Software Product Manager, Technical Project Manager, Business Analyst or Software Developer.
· Knowledge of software architectures (RDBMS, OS, TCP/IP, UI IA)
· Working knowledge of 3GL and 4GL programming languages.
· Experience working with enterprise software development teams.
· Comfortable with structured and unstructured data
· Knowledge of SDLC
· Excellent Excel, visio and statistical skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Technical degree - CS, Mathematics, Statistics
· Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
· At least one sample of an effective product specification delivered in the past
Preferred:
· Knowledge of digital ad networks, ad serving technologies and behavioral targeting
· Commercial programming experience.
