Technical Program Manager - Payroll
Amazon is seeking a Technical Program Manager for the Payroll Technology team. The Payroll Technology team builds and supports applications for our internal partner organizations (Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Payroll and Facilities) as well as external customers (vendors, payroll agencies). Responsibilities include: Collection of business and systems requirements from internal and external customers, Creating specification documents, testing applications, driving project schedules from design to release, and managing the production launch Leading and coordinating design/implementation efforts between internal teams and external vendors to deploy optimal solutions Building business cases and obtaining management support to deploy new software solutions, driving internal business, user adoption and collecting enhancement requests for expansion or improvements The ideal candidate will be expected to make appropriate tradeoffs to optimize time-to-market, clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal cross-functional and remote project teams.
