Our client is a Leading Banking division within one of Australia’s top banks, delivering complex technology solutions to the Credit Risk space. They have a highly mature and dedicated environment that looks to empower individuals to work autonomously on complex projects whilst contributing to overall company objectives. Due regulatory change, they are now looking for a technical project manager to join their team.
The role itself is heavily imbedded in the business and will require you to work very closely with Credit Risk Analysts, and Senior Stakeholders (CROs). Thus a very sound grounding in Credit Risk processes is paramount, in particular Counterparty Credit Risk and comprehension of the new Dodd Frank Legislation. You will be required to author and take full ownership of multiple projects. You will then use these to effectively communicate with the team to translate the business requirements into conclusive technical solutions.
Requirements of the role:
• Experience managing delivery across multiple phases of the software development life cycle.
• Background in Credit Risk Projects (Dodd Frank,Basel II, Counterparty exposure etc)
• Understanding of Technology and the delivery of software in a complex environments
• Strong Stakeholder management
• Comprehension of risk/issue management, change management and reporting.
• Ability to provide project leadership in an agile environment
• Interpersonal / communication skills
