The successful Technical Project Manager will be responsible for managing the execution of Engineering projects and facilitating resources to complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner. The PM will have the ability to understand complex technical challenges and the communication skills to convey them to other departments. What you need for this position:
- 1-3 years Technical Project Management experience
- Have a good technical understanding and ability to understand how systems impacts business
- Must be able to handle aggressive deadlines and juggle multiple responsibilities
- Ability to motivate the team to work together in the most efficient manner
- Flexibility during times of change
- Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization and ability to deliver sensitive information tactfully
- Must be available to work in our NYC office
What you'll be doing:
- Formulate and define project scope and objectives
- Identify resources needed and work with technology leaders to assign team members
- Analyze business and user needs and document requirements
- Manage basic project phases, coordinate and drive communication, facilitate decisions, and follow through on the execution of projects
- Facilitate regular client and project team meetings
- Maintain a solid understanding of technology industry
