Technical Project Manager

Position Description:

 As Technical Project Manager you have responsibility for defining, planning, tracking and managing that are assigned for Information Technology Infrastructure environment. Ideally you will have 5 to 9+ years of relevant work experience in the IT Infrastructure environments. You are responsible for identifying key resources and providing the direction required for meeting the project objectives and financial expectations. You are responsible for ensuring appropriate management, customer and vendor involvement throughout the life of the project. You must be able to lead and motivate people and encourage teamwork.  You must be able to communicate effectively between technical teams, senior management, and have a clear vision of what determines a successful product for the customer and for the company. You must be able to manage project schedules (via MS Project Server), task details and utilize project management tools including reports, tracking charts and checklists. You will manage change and take active leadership in timely decision making. You will have the ability  to face up to issues squarely and early, resolve conflicts, admit to having problems and seek coaching openly, escalate if necessary, and generally champion the people and the project up, down, and across the organization. Your role will in some instances act as a Team Leader for a specified area of the PM organization. As leader, you will be accountable for mentoring, training, executing the PM standards, and contributing to the development and enhancement of PM processes.
