My client is a global leader in the Unified Communications space, they work into a number of Tier 1 Telco's across the world and provide innovative network solutions. They have an immediate requirement for a Product Owner to lead an Agile Software Development team, implementing Product features as determined by the Product Director.
You will lead the development effort by conveying your vision to the team, prioritising work based on business value and be a focal point for both internal Stakeholders and the development team. This role combines a number of key skills; Project Management, Business Analysis, Pre-Sales and Support, Software Development and mentoring. You will define the Product roadmap and align it with the high level vision of the Product Director.
This is a position that was given official sign off last week, it is an immediate requirement, the company want to conduct interviews Thursday and Friday of next week, with a view to hire someone the week after. This is a global company, so the successful candidate must be prepared to travel when required, which may occur every couple of months.
Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership for defining the product roadmap, prioritise change requests, manage content and delivery and sign off on quality.
- Lead the Agile Software Development team, support the pre-sales and support teams, run daily sprints.
- Be a subject matter expert for the Assurance field of OSS
Requirements:
- At least 5 years experience within Telecommunications
- In depth OSS and Service Assurance experience
- Knowledge of Alarm and Performance management solutions
- Immaculate presentation and communication skills
- 5+ years Software Development experience
- Ability to travel to different office locations globally
