Technical QA Lead recruitment
A world leading global financial information services company are on the search for a bright and talented QA lead to join their team in Amsterdam.
They are seeking an experienced testing professional to co-ordinate and lead the Testing effort from the Amsterdam Office. This hands-on role will require both asisting with the management and execution of manual and automated tests.
The candidate will be responsible for testing a wide range of applications and technologies. The candidate should be comfortable working in multi-system environments and able to co-ordinate their testing across shared project platforms. They will need to be capable of working with different business groups across multiple locations and possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to enable them to quickly build a strong working rapport.
Skills:-
- Being data orientated, the position requires strong knowledge of relational database theory, advanced SQL, stored procedures and other data manipulation technologies.
- Some Java programming is a prerequisite and VBA/VBScript would be a considerable advantage, as would relevant financial industry knowledge.

Demonstrable system/regression testing experience, ideally in a financial environment with a blend of manual and automated testing.

Excellent understanding of software systems and development.

Experience working with V and RAD development life-cycle methodologies.

Good understanding of relational databases, SQL, stored procedures and other data manipulation technologies.
