Technical Recovery Manager
Technical Recovery Manager position available with our Financial Services / Banking client in London accountable for driving the technical resolution of all severity 1 / Code Red / specific severity 2 incidents and root cause identification within their own platform / application area. Previous banking client experience is essential.
Some key responsibilities include:
- Ability to provide clear concise guidance on technical direction of a recovery in a timely manner to the MIM or Senior Management when required
- Run a technical bridge to drive resolution of the incident, updating the MIM at pre agreed intervals during the bridge
- Ensure availability and capability of technical staff for severity 1 and code red incidents
- Drive technical investigations into root cause following incident recovery 24 x 7 providing regular (1 or 2 hourly) updates into the MIM or incident mailbox on progress
- Engage vendors onto code red and severity 1 calls at the earliest opportunity
PLEASE NOTE: This role does require candidates to work a shift pattern
12 hour shifts (7 until 7)
