Adecco Engineering Technical is seeking a Technical Recruiter in Boise, ID to focus on recruiting candidates for permanent placement opportunities. JOB SUMMARY: Seeks out, interviews, screens, recruits, reviews resumes and checks references of professional and technical applicants in order to fill job orders. Works under general supervision. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Documents telephone job orders by eliciting complete description of work requirements and client specifications. 2. Determines priority of orders based on branch policies and knowledge of sales goals and client importance. 3. Recruits qualified candidates via media, job fairs, networking, screening and interviewing. 4. Interviews prospective candidates adhering to EEOC, ADA and Affirmative Action guidelines. 5. Tests skills, performs reference checks and matches candidates to job openings. Describes position to the candidate to ensure compatibility and presents candidate information to the client. 6. Checks employment references and arranges for all types of background checks if necessary. 7. Follow ups with client companies who have Adecco temporaries on assignment. Ensures temporary assignments are accurate by obtaining detailed requirements from the client. Conducts prospect and client tours of the Adecco facility. Discusses Adecco programs and operational procedures. 8. Maintains thorough and accurate documentation on all client and temporary employee interactions. 9. Makes customer calls to assigned accounts to communicate new services, resolves problems and assists in planning for staff requirements. 10. Maintains a data bank of qualified associates to ensure that Adecco provides the highest possible quality and service. Identifies inventory requirements, develops/maintains recruiting resources and assists office supervisors with reference checks and other matters. 11. Performs other duties as assigned. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: - Bachelor's Degree in a related field and/or equivalent experience. - Thorough knowledge of Adecco Engineering Technical job descriptions. - Ability to operate general office equipment, basic PC skills such as Microsoft Office and email and ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time. - Working knowledge of labor and employment laws. -Capable of handling multiple tasks/ problems simultaneously; meet deadlines; set own priorities; continuously improve processes and procedures; schedule day events; make cold calls and prepare and give formal presentations. - Excellent problem solving, oral/written communication in one-on-one and group situations, organizational, interpersonal and motivational skills and the ability to interface with all levels of staff and management also required. - Strong customer service and positive attitude.
