Technical Recruiter Job in Rensselaer 12144, New York US

We are currently seeking a seasoned Technical Recruiter for our client in Rensselaer, NY. This is a contract opportunity with potential for this person to be considered for a permanent role. Our client offers a fantastic work environment within a dramatically growing organization.

 

Our client is looking for candidates who excel in an extremely fast-paced environment and can handle a high volume of work. This position will require overtime during busy hiring periods.

 

The Recruiter will be responsible for handling all aspects of the recruiting function and will work directly with a team of other recruiters and HR professionals.

 

The recruiter will:

·         Source and qualify candidates for assigned roles using a variety of recruiting methods

·         Work directly with hiring managers to establish job specifications and company needs

·         Develop job descriptions

·         Establish relationships with hiring managers, HR partners, candidates and external recruiters

 

Requirements:

·         Bachelor’s degree in HR or relevant field is ideal

·         3+ years of direct recruiting experience in a high volume environment

·         Experience in a biotech/life sciences or related industry strongly preferred

·         Experience recruiting technical positions is required

·         Highly adaptable, effective communication skills, strong relationship building skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and manage a large work load

·         Experience using Kenexa Brassring or similar ATS preferred

·         Ability to work with highly confidential information
