The Technical Requirements Analyst is responsible for ensuring that customer needs and expectations are being met, customers who need assistance defining their business need are offered support and clear direction about how IDI can provide solutions, and communicating issues and enhancement requests to development teams.
Specifically, the Technical Requirements Analyst will:
- Be an accessible initial point of contact for customers who have undefined technical needs.
- Listen, question, and elicit the nature of the business problem the customer is trying to solve.
- Identify ways in which Interconnect Devices can and will assist with their business needs.
- Engage customers with additional value added products.
- Collaborate with internal partners to develop an appropriate sense of urgency for the customer's needs.
- Escalate key customers through the service chain.
- Identify patterns and trends from customer transactions and aggregate this information for review with product development.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications include:
- Associate's degree or 2+ years of customer support experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong verbal/written communication, interpersonal and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to understand and apply IDI technology regarding mechanical and electrical concepts.
- Ability to exercise judgment and discretion in daily responsibilities.
- Ability to keep composure under a variety of customer service related situations.
- Ability to monitor work to ensure quality and demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness.
