CSI Technologies is currently seeking a Technical Sales and Marketing Representative to join our team.
Summary
The Technical Sales and Marketing Rep will be responsible for generating field jobs and laboratory testing projects. They will also be held accountable for presenting results and communicating with clients, ensuring that the customer is respected and served to the best of our ability. The idea candidate will have extensive knowledge of drilling and cementing operations with an emphasis on field operations, strong interpersonal skills in order to deal with engineers in the field as well as in the office, and strong attention to detail.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Presents project data to clients.
- Routinely call on clients to sell products and services with a primary focus on field QA/QC work, resin jobs, laboratory testing, and PE certifications.
- Able to prepare all types of proposals for potential jobs. (PA Certifications, Lab Testings, etc.)
- Capable of performing multiple tasks in field operation projects.
- Capable of presenting project data and explaining test procedures to clients.
- Must possess extensive knowledge of drilling and cementing operations with emphasis on field operations.
- Must possess technical writing skills and ability to write client reports or presentations capturing project objectives, conclusions, and results.
- Understanding of field operations through witnessing field jobs for all applicable product lines, including cementing, resin, and stimulation.
- Should work to obtain basic knowledge of all fluids used in well completion and/or construction process such as drilling fluids, spacers, fracturing fluids, acids.
- Must complete all required safety classes and obtain PPE necessary for working on rig sites in the field.
- Capable of carrying project from initiation to completion, including performing routine administrative procedures such as accruals, setup, invoicing.
- Other duties as directed by management.
Minimum Requirements
- At least six (6) years of related experience with primary job engineering, lab testing, on-site supervision, remedial operations, and/or post-job analysis for trouble jobs.
- At least 1 year of sales experience preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge and interpersonal skills.
- Great communication skills.
- Availability to travel locally and domestically.
