Technical Sales Representative - Saskatchewan

The Technical Sales Representative will be responsible for developing and managing a large territory (Saskatoon, Regina, Lloydminster and Winnipeg). Ideally, this position would be based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. This position may involve up to 30% overnight travel.

 

 

DUTIES

 

·         Recommend products and services to existing clients

·         Negotiate pricing and delivery

·         Prepare and present proposals

·        Attend seminars or conferences, trade shows, and corporate functions

·         Qualify new leads to grow territory

·         Pre-construction or on-site presence during the sales process when needed 

 

 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

 

·            Between three and five years of field sales experience

·            Good understanding of the energy and resource sector

·            Post secondary education or training within the construction industry is an asset

·            Knowledge of civil engineering or construction technology and practices

·            Professional development and sales training

·            Organized, can easily identify priorities, self-starter

·            Strong attention-to-detail
