Technical Service Specialist – Helpdesk Support recruitment
Responsibilities:
Due to the results of previous expansion plus the future expansion plans, the technical services staff will play a key role in the continued success and expansion of the bank in the Hong Kong office.
- Provide services to all business lines with particular focus supporting U.S. lines of businesses during U.S. overnight period
- Respond to telephone inquiries concerning technical support, processing or request procedures, systems status and network connectivity
- Document and resolve basic break fix problems regarding business applications, hardware and software
- Record, resolve or direct requests to appropriate technical area or vendor, track status and follow up to ensure client satisfaction
- Work on special projects assigned
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related disciples is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Minimum of one year hands-on IT experience as a Technical Support Helpdesk Analyst
- Proficient knowledge of computer hardware and software with experience supporting Rightfax systems, Windows XP, Active Directory, Windows 2003, MSOffice 2003, Microsoft IE 6.0, email platforms along with experience in AS400 and mainframe
- Ability to work on flexible hours, this includes shift hours in any five days from Monday to Sunday and Public Holidays
