The Role
Technical leadership to a Regional Technical Services team providing support services to the business in Hong Kong and the region.
Services include development of regional initiatives, supervision of data centre operations, help desk operations, server infrastructure strategic direction and server based infrastructure support.
The Requirements
• Strong packaged software solutions experience
• Solid background in administration of mid-range servers
• Experience in complex data centre environments with business critical applications
• Proficiency in application development and production support processes, methodologies and tools
• Strong ability with system development methodology and various IT platforms
• Experienced in managing large teams of IT managers and other technical resources across regional projects
• Project management experience across multiple teams/releases and stakeholders; ability to shape priorities, coordinate resources and integrate efforts
• Proven track record of delivering medium to large projects
• ITIL certification
• Understanding of risk management principles for IT operations and projects
• Insurance and financial services industries preferable
• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related courses
