Technical Services Job ID: HITS09111196 Technical Services - Annapolis Junction, MD - HITS09111196 Description: Technical Services Job Code: HITS09111196 Job Description: · Responsible for providing second or third tier technical support to internal company employees or external customers for desktop systems software, hardware and network infrastructure · Respond to situations where first-line technical support is unable to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software · Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop systems, workstations, servers and network issues · Maintain passwords, data integrity and file system security for the desktop environment · Communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel · Recommend hardware and software solutions, including new acquisitions and upgrades · Participate in development of information technology and infrastructure projects · Conduct research on information technology trends that help facilitate employee productivity Qualifications: · 0-2+ years experience with BS/BA · 4+ years experience with 2 years post Secondary/AA-AS Degree · 8+ years experience with no advanced degree · ITIL(R) v3 Foundation certification Preferred Additional Skills: · Good ability to lead and work as part of a team This position requires the candidate to already possess an active clearance and to maintain the clearance.
