Job Description
The Technical Services Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning engineers and geotechnical engineers on site, working across the open pits as well as the underground operation. The role is based on a Monday to Friday roster and 8 hour working day.
The Successful Applicant
Successful applicants will have a mining engineering background in hard rock open cut and underground mining environments and demonstrable ability to deal with a broad range of challenges in both. Leadership skills are essential and previous management responsibility is preferred, as are good written and verbal communication skills to liaise with other departments. Strong computer literacy with mine planning software is imperative.
