Technical Services Manager
COMPANY:- Are leading European manufacturers of innovative building products used in a variety of applications throughout structural building and flat roofing. They have quickly established themselves within the UK with a reputation for quality, innovation and quality of service and support.
JOB:- Managing a small team providing the technical services and support function to a varied customer base including Architects, Specifiers, Contractors Merchants/Distributors - as well as supporting the internal and external sales teams within the business. This will be an extremely varied role but the key functions will be:
- Technical liason with partners external agencies such as product approvals/certification with BBA etc.
- Provision of technical calculation services evaluations.
- Provision of general specific technical advice.
- Representation of company on external internal technical forums.
- Provision of sales marketing opportunities arising from technical activities.
- Technical input to marketing effort.
PERSON:- You will have a technical background preferably within structural building products and ideally a qualification in a building related technical discipline. You will be familiar with building regulatory requirements specifically BBA processes. You will naturally be an effective manager - with the ability to communicate at all levels.
